We acknowledge the Yuin People, Traditional Custodians of the land on which our preschool is built and pay tribute to their unique role they play in the life of this region.

As a preschool we are committed to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our daily program to advance reconciliation.

“It is a commitment to children learning about what has come before and working for what is to come.”

We welcome you and your child to Narooma Preschool.

We hope your family’s time here will be happy and rewarding. At Narooma Preschool we provide a warm, safe, caring, stimulating environment that meets the developmental needs and interests of each child in our care.

We acknowledge that all children engage in learning that promotes confident and creative individuals and successful lifelong learners. We recognise all children as active and informed members of their communities with knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.

We understand that we are a community-based preschool and appreciate and embrace the valuable and diverse input we receive from all our families and community members.

Our Pre School Anthem

In October 2021 we started work with Grow the Music (Imagine Myrtle Pty Ltd), local indigenous artist, Natalie Bateman and our class of 2021 to create a song for Narooma PreSchool which accurately and uniquely reflects our local area, our school and our children. Each day our children come together in a Community Circle to acknowledge the Yuin people, the traditional owners of the land on which our PreSchool stands by singing our beautiful PreSchool anthem.
